Stone Work

granite work in cornwall stone faced shore cav
Cornish granite work is what makes Cornish properties unique. We often clad timber frames in granite using the Shorcav system
After the footings were dug and the pad laid
the timber frame is built
a breathable membrane applied
shorcav is fitted with plenty of ties
granite is laid to the frame

The stone steps we built were bridged onto the new utility room with granite slabs

I personally designed the steps and utility room, set out and constructed this brilliant addition to this character barn conversion.

All aspects of stonework undertaken: granite, local stone, and imported stone. New builds, renovations/restorations, repairs, stone facing, openings, and quoin and lintel work.
